• Solidification Defects: Interpretation of macro-shrinkage (primary), micro-shrinkage (secondary), and sand burn.
• MAGMAinteract: Using the tool for simulation-results analysis.
• Process Variations: Influence of process variations and their effect on the occurrence of casting defects.
• Casting Heterogeneity: Mechanical properties, residual stress, and dimensional variations.
