MAGMA, a global leader in casting simulation software, recently concluded a highly successful series of Foundry Technology Seminars in Bangkok, Thailand. The events addressed crucial topics in the casting industry, including High-Pressure Die Casting (HPDC), Gravity Die Casting (GDC), Low-Pressure Die Casting (LPDC) and Cast Iron Foundry Technology.

• MAGMA HPDC Technological Seminar: On the morning of November 28, 2023, this seminar exclusively focused on the HPDC process, addressing challenges in EV structural casting production.
• MAGMA GDC/LPDC Technological Seminar: In the afternoon of November 28, 2023, this seminar delved into GDC/LPDC, showcasing various solutions to minimize casting defects and improve production efficiency.
• MAGMA Cast Iron Technological Seminar: Taking place on November 30, 2023, the entire day was dedicated to the Cast Iron casting process. It highlighted diverse contributions, introducing new technologies to enhance casting quality and boost efficiency and productivity in sand core production.

Akebono Brake Astra Indonesia, King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi, Thai Chanathorn Industry and Suranaree University of Technology, actively took part as key presenters during the sessions.
